Oh boy, I’m a little nervous to post these pictures as I haven’t really done a side-by-side comparison yet. I started the Slow Carb Diet at nearly 190lbs with an average blood pressure of 145/90 and a size 14 pant that I still couldn’t get comfortable in. Despite all these things, despite battling a muscular disorder (fibromyalgia), I have had endless support from The Boyfriend and with his patience and help, I am coming up on eight months of being nicotine-free and about five months of serious dedication to the slow carb lifestyle. I’ve lost about 2″ on my waist, possibly more now but I’ve been too scared to check, 2% body fat (I started measuring BF about 2 months ago), and can comfortably fit into most size 12 pants now. I still have a long way to go, but I didn’t gain 60 pounds in one week, I’m not going to lose it in one week. As of last week, my blood pressure was near-textbook perfect at 120/86.
